Welshpool-based KW Brickwork Contractors Ltd supplied these photos from a job Kris was working on in late September 2026. They show a buff facing brick corner being set out on scaffold, with a string line and profile, and a run of the same brick built up over a darker engineering-brick base course.
What the photos show
These two photos came straight from a project Kris was working on. They show buff facing brickwork on scaffold, part-way up a building: a corner with a profile and string line set for the next course, and a longer run of the same brick with a darker engineering-brick course near the base.
Setting out and building over a base course
The corner detail shows the string line pulled taut from a profile, keeping the course straight and level as the brickwork goes up. Along the wall run, the buff facing brick sits cleanly over the engineering-brick course below, with the joint between the two kept level along the whole run.
